What the embeddable experience is and when to use it
A box on your own website where your customers check their points, in your colours, with no mention of VivaPoints anywhere.
Обновлено: 26 июля 2026 г.
The website widget puts your loyalty programme on your website. A customer types their email, gets a code, and sees their points — on your domain, in your colours, without ever learning that VivaPoints exists.
That last part is deliberate. There is no logo, no "powered by", and no link back to us. As far as your customer is concerned, you built it.
What it looks like to a customer
- They see a box on your page: your brand colour, your font, your rounded corners.
- They type the email address they joined with.
- A six-digit code arrives. They type it in.
- They see their card — balance, tier, progress to the next reward, recent activity, and a button to redeem.
No password. No account to create, because they already have one from whenever they joined your programme. Nothing to install.
The two layouts
You pick one in Website widget in your dashboard.
| Full | Compact | |
|---|---|---|
| Shows | Points, rewards, history, redeem | Balance and a sign-in button |
| Height | About 560px | About 180px |
| Put it on | A dedicated "Your rewards" page | A sidebar, a footer, a homepage strip |
Most businesses want Full on one page and nothing else. If your site has a persistent sidebar, Compact there and Full on its own page is the combination that works best: the sidebar reminds people the programme exists, the page is where they actually do something.
When to use it, and when not to
Use it when you already have a website customers visit — especially if they visit it to book, order or browse. Someone checking their table booking is one click from checking their points, and that click is free.
Use the app instead when the interesting moment happens in your shop rather than on your website. Someone standing at your counter is not going to open a browser.
Use both when you have a mix. They cost nothing to run side by side, because they are the same account and the same balance. A customer who checks on your website on Tuesday and in the app on Friday sees the same number.
The widget also does something the app cannot: it reaches customers who will never install anything. Most people will not download an app for one café, but almost everyone will click a box that is already on a page they were visiting anyway. If your programme is small or new, that difference is most of your audience.
The widget and the app are two windows onto one card. There is no syncing, no separate balance and nothing to reconcile — a redemption in one appears immediately in the other.
What it deliberately cannot do
- It shows one business: yours. A customer who is also a member somewhere else does not see that here. Your widget cannot read another business's data, and theirs cannot read yours. That is enforced on our side, not by your website.
- It never shows their global VivaPoints profile — only their standing with you.
- It will not load on a website you have not listed. If someone copies your snippet onto their own site, it refuses to render. See Allowed domains and keeping your embed secure.
- Staff cannot award points from it. It is a customer-facing window, not a till.
What it costs you to run
Once it is pasted in, nothing. It is a single line of HTML pointing at a page we host and keep running. There is no plugin to update, no JavaScript library to break when you redesign your site, and nothing to reinstall when we ship improvements — those appear on your site the day we make them.
Change your brand colours later and you change them in your dashboard. You do not touch your website again.
Getting started
Three articles, in order: add it to your website, match it to your brand, then lock it to your domains. Fifteen minutes, start to finish.

How customers join your program
Customers join by opening a link you share. Here is where to find that link, what they see when they tap it, and how to ask without holding up the queue.
Adding the VivaPoints widget to your website
Where to paste the snippet, what it looks like once it is live, and how to check it is working.
Matching your brand: colors, fonts and shape
